"Zaminsakht (the Persian word for tectonic) Technical Institute" in 1978 with the name "Geosciences" was formed to respond to the impressive needs of consulting engineers.

Then, in 1984 for the development of basic studies on construction projects, with the number 53 and a name change to "Zaminsakht consulting Engineering" was registered.

In 2001 under the number (4966) the Institute converted to Private Joint Stock and in 2005 transferred to Tehran with the number (245457).

Zaminsakht consulting engineers certified with grade “A” in Geotechnical engineering and in the fields: surveying, Architecture, Structure design, retrofitting of weld and concrete quality control, Urban planning, Geographical studies, Mechanical and Electrical installations, Road designs, Power generation- distribution and transmission, Geophysics and Geology.
